New 2022-23 ProFILE class announced

The new ProFILE class for 2022-23 has been announced and will soon begin its 15-month journey through Michigan Farm Bureau’s premier leadership-development program, to the benefit of these promising young farmers:

The group will convene for the first time Jan. 19-20 for an orientation and networking session, then again in early February for a retreat focused on public speaking.

Mid-March takes them to the nation’s capital for a five-day junket in conjunction with MFB’s 2022 Washington Legislative Seminar before a lengthy break to accommodate planting season and most of the summer.

They’ll touch base next in late September then break again for harvest and Farm Bureau annuals in the fall and early winter.

In late January 2023 the group will board a bus for a five-day tour of noteworthy agricultural sites outside Michigan, and take part in MFB’s Young Farmer Leaders Conference the following month before their graduation in March.

ProFILE is MFB’s premier leadership development program for promising young Farm Bureau leaders, ages 25-35. Every two years a select group dive deep into the Farm Bureau organization and current industry issues, gathering along the way practical skills like public speaking, teamwork, communication, networking, media outreach and business planning.
