Questions About Billings and Payments? We're Here to Help

Date Posted: April 26, 2021

Online Payments

You may pay online with your credit card, Debit, or ATM card. You may also pay with electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your checking or savings account. Please allow 1-2 business days for the payment to be applied to your account. We do not charge a fee for paying online. To pay online, please go to FB Pay or click on the Pay Bill link at the top of the page.

Online payment options include:

  • Credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa)
  • Debit/ATM card (MasterCard or Visa)
  • Electronic funds transfer

Mailing a Payment

Payments should be mailed to:

Farm Bureau Insurance
P.O. Box 298
Grand Rapids, MI 49501-0298

Please include your policy number or billing account number along with your payment. You may pay the account balance at any time to eliminate future payment plan fees. The minimum amount due must be paid as billed.

Manage Payment Methods

Online payments cannot be completed with an expired card. If your card is passed its expiry date, update your information at Manage Payment Methods once you have logged into your account.

We have two separate online billings systems. One system is used for property and casualty products while the other system is for life and annuity products. This means there will be two separate places to complete online functions like managing your payment methods or viewing your payment histories.

Go Paperless

All policies except commercial package policies can be converted to a paperless format. Get payment reminders through your email for all policies except life, annuity and commercial package policies.

To sign up, login to your account and select “Manage Paperless” on the left. The policy(s) and/or billing account(s) you want to sign up will need to be registered to your web account.

Billing Cycle

The first policy on the account sets the bill date.

Invoices based on the chosen payment plan will be produced 14 days before their payments due date.

Payment Plan Fees and Options

A payment plan fee is applied at the billing account level for payment plan options. If there are multiple policies on one billing account, only one payment plan fee will apply for each scheduled billing installment.

To learn more or to change your payment plan, please go to FB Pay, login to your account and use the change payment plan form for your registered policy. You may also contact your Farm Bureau Insurance Agent or the Customer Service Department at (800) 535-2335 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
