Jon Adamy

In April Jon Adamy joined Michigan Farm Bureau’s (MFB) Center for Marketing and Media as its new media relations specialist. As such he will coordinate MFB’s media relations efforts, draft and distribute press releases, monitor media coverage and facilitate media inquiries with staff and leadership.

Previously Adamy did similar work with McLaren Greater Lansing, assisting leaders with media coverage and messaging while also coordinating media opportunities and special events. Prior to that he was executive producer of news and special projects for WLNS, TV-6 in Lansing.

Adamy earned his broadcast journalism degree from Grand Valley State University and has earned several awards for his subsequent work from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters and Michigan Associated Press.

Originally from Tecumseh, Jon lives in Holt with his wife, Amy, their almost 2-year-old son, Logan, and a rambunctious dog, Bean. When he's not chasing after his son, Jon enjoys traveling, playing chess and Polaroid photography.

Nancy Nyquist

Beginning June 21, Nancy Nyquist stepped into her new role as external executive management and Policy Specialist in MFB’s Public Policy & Commodity Division. She will be responsible for managing and soliciting contracts with agricultural commodity organizations to provide executive management services and policy analysis on labor issues.

Nyquist comes to Farm Bureau after having served several roles at the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, including market development specialist and legislative director. More recently she served the MSU College of Agriculture & Natural Resources as its associate director of corporate and foundation relations.

She earned her marketing and management degree from Northwood University and is also a graduate of the Great Lakes Leadership Academy. Originally from Marquette, Nyquist has lived in the Lansing area for more than 30 years and outside work enjoys baking, cooking, Zumba and traveling with friends and family.

Becca Gulliver

Wheeler native Rebecca Gulliver started her new position as MFB’s Membership Engagement and Field Training Specialist on June 19. In the position she will train new regional managers, cover vacancies among those 12 positions and work toward enhancing member-engagement efforts statewide.

For almost five years Gulliver has served as MFB’s Saginaw Valley Regional Manager, cultivating local leaders and facilitating programs for Farm Bureau members in Bay, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland and Saginaw counties.

Prior to Farm Bureau, she worked at North Huron Schools, assisting with ag-science education, coordinating Ag in the Classroom activities and developing classroom curricula.

She earned her bachelor’s in agriculture, food and natural resources education from Michigan State University (MSU) and recently graduated from Northwood University with master’s in organizational leadership. A past FFA State Officer, Gulliver now serves as secretary on the Michigan FFA Alumni Board.

Cole Iaquinto

On July 3 Cole Iaquinto began his new role managing MFB’s Member Benefits and Relations department, where he’ll strive to enhance the value of Farm Bureau membership by maintaining and enriching the array of benefit and savings programs members enjoy. He succeeds long-serving predecessor Jenna (Schrot) Mignano in the position.

For more than nine years Iaquinto has served Farm Bureau members in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Presque Isle and Otsego counties as MFB’s North Regional Manager. During that time he helped cultivate county leaders and helped implement several new projects and events, and played a key role in raising the region’s member-retention rate to 94.45 percent.

Iaquinto’s fisheries and wildlife degree from MSU set the stage for his pre-Farm Bureau work as a fire and conservation crew member with The Nature Conservancy, working prescribed fire-operations across the state and providing conservation counsel to public stakeholders and private landowners.

Outside work the Clio native is an avid outdoorsman hunting turkey, white-tailed deer, mule deer, pronghorn antelope and elk.
